I just bought the Dynatrac / Walker-Evans shocks. Remote reservoir, adjustable and rebuild-able. Great ride for my daily driver. Haven't had a chance to wheel them yet.

They ain't cheap!
Liberator AT tires? Thoughts?
Buy the less expensive tires. Save up for gears. The difference between the 30s and 31s is not going to get you over much more in the way of obstacles.
And if you are considering AGR, you should also look at PSC. (Not Poison Spyder! )

Started by an unhappy AGR family member, they have some good stuff, too.
The New "Crosslander"
I got a junkyard Taurus fan t fit, but it took some manipulation.
The big problem with junkyard anything is that you are buying junk. So I shouldn't have been surprised when it failed a few months later.
I bought the control unit from dccontro.com that really worked...
Gotta love the Bible belt....
Wise? Hmmm..
Was it wise to spend any money on a D35? I would probably saved for a D44 or something stronger.
Was it wise to go from 3.07 to 3.73? What size tires? What engine? My Jeep came with 3.73 and I like to change to 4.88.
Was it wise to opt for LSD...
RE: Re: RE: Custom Built YJ
I have the fumotovalve on my Jeep and so far so good. It hasn't gotten smashed on rocks. Not much risk of being clogged by mud here in the southwest. The lever moves really smooth. Oil drains a little slow, but that would be the only complaint.
RE: CJ Bumpsteer problem
I think the early 98s were different than the later 98's. Probably cleaning up left over parts from the 97s ;-)
Sahara was a trim package - more about dress up stuff like painted flares and seat options. There is also a heavy duty suspension/towing package that I got...
RE: Transmission Problems
Could also be the AX5 on some 98 TJs. Check the body code plate under the driver seat carpet.
DDQ = AX5 - 5 Speed Manual
DDO = AX15 - 5 Speed Manual
