Need help with my 1990YJ intake system

1064981 I am not as knowledgable about my jeep as the rest of you are. Its a stock 1990 YJ, so whatever gearing comes on the inline 6 is what i have. i do fine around and up hills, just a big problem from 55-70, i think i've hit 85once =P also wanted to add, as far as modifications go-once i...

Need help with my 1990YJ intake system

1065065 Thanks so much!! I'll get on that right away. Got her stuck for the first time today, i found about 3acres, that is mainly flat, with a bunch of little 'jump' hills, lots of fun around 20-30mph. Landed in a mud pit, i managed to flag some guy down in an F250 turbo deisel; popped me...

How bad is my Jumpin Jeep?

1065539 Heh, i've had the dirtbike, i guess the next step would be a dune buggy of sorts? ;-) I have a 4" lift on it as of, and when jumping (maybe a few feet in the air, dont think i've gotten more than 2.5-3ish. My buddy was waiting outside, and told me i wasn't near bottoming out... so i...

I found this... and Im confused...

1065797 Ok i'm at the same place joopin is, i've got a 4'' suspension lift, no body lift. If i go with a SOA on that, how high am i going to be? too high? I'd like a nice comfortable highth, with good articulation, but hey-i'm not to sure where to go from here. its a YJ by the way...

Glaspack to a FlowMaster 40 tomorow.

1065808 lol i also need an exhaust, how loud is the glasspack, is it annoying or just loud. Tell me how the flow sounds, i'm axious to hear (my 1990YJ has holes in the muffler-big enough to see through... so i'm sure i'm louder than most jeeps around). I really want a nice throughty sound...

    A true 'jeeper'

1065818 Guess my cherokee humor a bit to thick for most =P I really like cherokees, i might have bought one if they were a bit cheaper... but drivin down the road in a wangler is a bit different than in a cherokee; and that does kinda change how the music sounds. I mean in a BMW music...

    35" Mtrs air pressure

1065821 Good idea to rechalk after some rough riding and then some highway riding, so you can find a little bit of settled pressure, then that gauge reading should be a premanent one-least that what my buddy told me <shrug> edited by: Shane, Apr 25, 2003 - 07:39 PM[addsig]
