On my 97 tj there is a wire above the cluch, by the ac vent under the dash, that can be unpluged to by pass the clutch wile starting the car. There are directions about how to do this in the owners manuel on about page 105 or so but I cant find it. Has anyone done this? I want to wire a switch...

The gash is not in a good place, Its right at the drain plug hole, welding might mess up the plug threads, but I dont weld so im not sure.

Maybe ill replace the whole steering colemn. My Blinker switch is broken anyways. Only on left hand turns i turn on the blinker it blinks but when I hit the break while the blinker is on, it stays lit up. When my foot is off the break It blinks like normal. And if i press the blinker down...
