Can you still get Craftsman tools replaced?

Our local Lowes carries Craftsman now. You might check and see if they'll honor the warranty.

    Clockspring?

Thanks, mark sr. I just checked the NHTSA and Mopar websites and there are no outstanding recalls for my VIN.

    Clockspring?

Thanks for the second opinion, I kinda figured it was. I've never removed a steering wheel but I may give this one a try myself instead of taking it to the shop. The videos make it seem pretty easy except for the threat of an explosive detonation of the airbag. Thanks, but mines an 03 so...

    Clockspring?

My airbag light has recently come on and wondering if it's the clockspring or it could be something else. From what I've read, the cruise control, horn and airbag all use the clockspring for electrical connection. My horn works but my cruise control hasn't worked since I got the Jeep a bit over...

    Yay!! Santa's here!

    The honeymoon is over!

Very common on Jeeps but don't let people tell you it's just something you've got to live with. It can be fixed. First thing I would do is take out all the drain plugs to let the water out and keep it from pooling. You should have one in each passenger position. I've always taken mine out and...

Update and first time off road in new Jeep!

Sounds like fun! Glad the winch was an easy fix.

    Jeep Galdiator reveal

I really like it and may consider when it's time to buy something new. I would of course keep the TJ. We are thinking of getting a small camper and I think this would pull it nicely.

    Hello?

Yeah, a little quiet around here lately.

Jeep Prepares to Recall New Wranglers Over Frame-Weld Defect

This really makes FCA looks bad. I mean, I understand it's the first year of a new model but I saw some pictures where the weld missed the piece it was trying to weld completely. It was maybe an eight of an inch too high. That no one caught this is incredible. Hopefully they will resolve it quickly.

    Home network replacement

I've had the same modem for about 5 years now, since we moved into this house and just replaced the router last week but that was because the wired ports went out. I did have problems with slow internet/cable tv dropping out for awhile but they determined there was a problem on the pole and they...

    Beep boop, it's a Joop

Haha. I guess that's what they all look like with out decals. Well, TJs at least. Never noticed that before.

So what are you guys watching these days?

We've been watching quite a bit of BBC shows on Netflix if you like that kinda thing. Death in Paradise is a witty "solve a murder per episode" kinda show. Broadchurch has David Tenant as the lead detective in a serious "solve a murder per season" kinda show. The Crown was pretty good if...

    New here from South Carolina.

Congrats and welcome to Jeepz! I love the red. Was that a factory color? I don't recall seeing one that color before.

New to Jeepz, but not to Jeeps

Looks good and welcome to Jeepz! I kinda partial to TJs as well.

    TJ Mirror temperature sensor location

If it was on Celsius, it would be reading 25-30 degrees instead of over 100.

    TJ Mirror temperature sensor location

Yeah, past Jeeps I've had did that as well. When you first start it up, it shows high until you drive it a while. Mine is always about 20 high no matter how long I've driven it.

    TJ Mirror temperature sensor location

My mirror displays the direction and temperature but the temperature is about 20 degrees too high. Anyone know where or how I can locate the sensor and maybe relocate it? I'm thinking it's too close to the hot bits somewhere. I know it should be located between the radiator and grill but I...

Tire ? Not sure what i need.

Welcome to Jeepz and congrats on the new Jeep. Yeah, I don't think it's a body lift either. Likely spacers placed above the springs. If that's the case and you don't like that, then you can replace the springs and shocks with ones that equal a 2" lift to get the same look. It would cost a lot...
