Ok so i have a 99 wrangler with 35" tires and 3.73 ratio according to my spec sheet. Quadratecs chart calls for a 29 tooth gear so that is what i bought. The one i took out of my jeep was a 30 tooth and i replace it with the 29 tooth and it made no differance at all. Any help would be appreciated.

We let me start by saying the smittybilt side armor is awesome ease to put on and looks great. Now starts the nightmare i went to replace the muffler that had a broke weld and to come to find out the previous owner put on the wrong size muffler and rigged the exhaust pipe with welds and clamps...

This weekend work turned into a nightmare

Should be nice weather only 94, better than 105 plus few rain showers to cool it off.

So this weekend im changing my a/c condensor that has 2 pin holes in it, my muffler that the pipe broke off, speedometer gear so i can really tell how fast and how bad my gas mileage really is, also putting on some side armor guards. I love working on my Jeep and a 12pack.:beer:

Hello everyone, I had a 95 wrangler for about 9 years sold because i had a newborn now my kids are older and I'm back in a 99 wrangler and loving it. Its amazing when you have a Jeep and sell it, then get another one 5 years later how much you realize you miss them.

I have a 99 Jeep Wrangler. What are some things i can do to get better gas mileage?
