2000 Grand rear disc brake removal

Often times it takes brute force on older vehicles. Consider increasingly harder taps with a 3 lb sledge on the back side, rotating the axle and hitting the rotor in a different location each time. The rotors are shot so you're not going to hurt anything. Wear eye protection.

    Linkage in a YJ Jeep

Loosen the shift rod on the transfer case linkage. Manually shift the transfer case to 4lo using a 3/8" box wrench or crescent wrench on the shift pawl where it enters the transfer case. Move the shifter to 4lo and tighten the shift rod. Drain and replace the transfer case fluid. Let us know...

    Old guy buys old Jeep.

I've had those seats in a Jeep before, real kidney busters. Rig looks to be well set up for what you want to do. Where in the Midwest are you? I'm near the StL.

Looking for any advice on how to replace my 1995 Jeep YJ 2.5 injectors

Unplug the electrical connectors, remove the small metal clips holding each injector, and evenly pull on the fuel rail. It takes some pretty good force but pull evenly to prevent damage. I ran mid '90s Ford Crown Vic v8 injectors in my '95 2.5L and it ran much smoother.

    Banking on the "Banks" turbo

Welcome to the forum. I don't think you'll find many users of either, mostly due to cost. Be even more rare to find someone with experience with both. In your search for more power, have you made sure your axles are geared correctly for your tire size?

need help with transfer case drop

I've never seen more than a 1" transfer case drop. Any more and you're running into issues such as binding at the motor mounts and too much angle at the front output of the transfer case.

    Help - death wobble

dsoucy, welcome to the forum and thanks for the helpful post. In your instance, keep in mind that after having your tires balanced you likely still have the loose/worn part that allowed the tire imbalance escalate into full blown death wobble. There are two distinct actions that allow death...

    1978 CJ7 walking issue

CJ's are notoriously loose in the front end. New balljoints, tierod ends, and spring bushings are a great start. Good idea on the steering box brace, the thin factory unit allows a lot of play. Once all that's tightened up, it's a matter of having the correct toe-in and caster. If it's still...

    Engine shutting down

Sounds like whatever triggers your petrol pump or injectors to turn off at 2000 rpm is also telling the ECU to not run. I think this is a good problem for the manufacturer to diagnose.

    Help - death wobble

If it's a shake at 55 that you can drive through, it's your wheel balance. Even though they've been balanced, I'd swap them front to rear and see if it changes. Get the tires balanced somewhere that does road-force balancing. There is nothing wrong with wheel spacers, as long as the metal...
