    Scientific comparrison of modifications

The mathmatical approach is a great idea however,Your Rubicon came equipped from the factory designed by engineers with most likely greater mathmatical skills and car building experience than the "average" person. You added 33's,They didnt design that jeep with 33's so now it has changed.Say the...

    all jeep Gurus

Hey Johnny those were the original springs that I removed in the pic. And this YJ has a 5 leaf sprimg rear and a 4 leaf spring front. Arch was a little tighter with the new pair. YES the winch could be the problem maybe I should try removing it to see what changes if any occur.

Ok well I took the old shackels that I had removed and redrilled and shortened them to work and got another 1 inch out of it. This will work for now. I have been out of work since last Sept so I cant lift it right now but that is my next step and all this will go away. Thanks everyone!

How much clearance have you got between tire and fender flare? I guess I am close enough I just would hate to rub . I...

    cj brake lights wtf

Brake lights typically have a constant hot 12V wire to the switch whether it is electric or hydraulic pressure. The switch when activated sends 12 volts to the brake light and turns the light on. This allows for brake lights even when ignition is off. (ever get caught with a girlfriend by the...

Another question over YJ Soft top channels

Keep on mind that you can always drill out the rivets. I just bought a used winchield frame that had holes everywhere. I am assuming that the previous owner was a rivet nut!

My 98 TJ has AC Problems

sounds like you have a plugged system filter and pressure is too high. My 95 Trans Am did exactly that. I released a little pressure in the system and it started working for a little while. I since took it to a shop and had it cleaned and recharged. works great now. push in on the shraeder valve...

    A/C question

It is wise to get the system evacuated and have the vacuum pulled down to look for leaks prior to recharge and remove all existing residue. My understanding is you can do the install of 134 without any trouble yet the existance of any R-12 and or remaining oils can actually contaminate the sytem...
