I can't tell you exactly the reason, but I had a vehicle a number of years ago that did the same thing and the problem was the starter. Maybe it was a short, but when it got hot it refused to turn... No sounds whatsoever other than coming from my mouth. I guess putting a meter on it could...

I think I finally got it right as it can be... I think the primary source of the problem was the fuel mixture screw was turned in almost a half a turn to far. And, I should have looked at the carb instructions sooner. When installing it and flipping thru the pages I must have flipped two pages...

It has a Weber 32/36 with a fuel. regulator set at 3.0-3.5 psi per spec. It's an open air cleaner, but could probably be changed. It's not that bad tho'. I have no clue on torque converter or how to check, and the exhaust is sound. Sent from my XT1650 using Jeepz.com mobile app
