I'm not totally sure but I don't think that hybids are using regular car batteries. I think they are using a Dry Cell, for example NiMH (nickel-metal hydride battery). Its kinda like the battery in you cell phone.

It deffinately depends on preference..... personally I love manuals. BUT with the newer ones the clutch is WAAAAYYYY to soft for me. There is virtually no resistance. I can't stand that!!!!!! Maybe I'm just too old school. But if I was going to get one of the new ones it would be an Auto.

I had the same problem. I also have a 03 Wrangler X. I took it to the dealer ship a couple of times to have them check it out. They couldn't find anything wrong. I got an alignment and had the tires rebalanced and it was still happening. Finally I broke down and bought new tires and the wobble...

Is there any gas getting to the engine? a piece of rust or dirt may have gotten knocked loose and was sucked up into your fuel line.

When I had this happen to me one of my tires was out of balance. I would take it to a shop to have someone look at it. also check your alignment while your at it. or it could cost you a set of new tires.

I think that the years for tops are '97-01 and '03-05. I'm not sure what the difference. It may be the round corners around the doors.
