    Fuel Gauge issue

On the three wires from the body, do you know which is power to the oump and which is ground? I imagine black and red? Unplug the pin that is supposed to be for the gage and just get the pump to work. Than you can plug the gage in. If the gage still deflects backwards, their sender is hooked...

    Pitman Arm question

I didn't do a drop pitman on a comanche with a three inch lift or on a cherokee with a three inch lift. I never had any trouble from not doing it. You have an 87, like my 87 cherokee so you have a high pinion front axle which means you wont run into any angle issues with lifting like newer...

    Jeep High Mileage decals

Dang, you have 450k on that jeep? Pretty good. I could have only gone to 300k in a few jeeps. One chevy 1500 i could have gotten the 800k and one 524td bmw could have gotten the 800k but those are all long gone. Now , the highest mile is the 04 ranger with 225k. The jeeps are all 140k or...

Jeep TJ oil drain plug gasket - do we need to change this?

I have never changed one either. I have bought some vehicles that the pan bolt leaked because the previous owner stripped it and failed to tell me but i just put teflon tape on the threads and snugged it up and that fixed the leak

    Fuel Gauge issue

They come out from the other side but since its a weather proof connector, i am not sure how. Normally, they have a little arm that sticks up and slides behind a line in the pin hole to hole them in place. I assume the weather proof connectors are the same. You might have to cut and solder...

    Fuel Gauge issue

Dang, i just saw the little picture in the bottom of your first post. I think it is the gauge but do the test i told you. It actually looks like the needle rest broke on the gauge face and let the needle swig down to much. There should be a small black pin that stick our perpendicularly to the...
