how hard would it be to

The electric pump will totally drownd a carb at 50psi. It can be replaced with a universal electric on the frame pump (5-7 psi). But, I don't think your ignition will fire at all without the ECU. I would get the stuff to return the jeep to stock from the local pick-your-part. It's gonna be a...

    Lift?

Does it come with everything in the pic??? And yes, how much lift? EDIT: I looked at it closer and I don't think it comes with all of this. They have the same pic for the front lift kit and it is like 750.00.

I am sure everybody will want a little more background, most importantly, has it ever been tuned up? Plugs wires etc.

    air intake and vac lines

You can buy brass fittings at home depot type stores. Drill a hole in the pvc just big enough to start screwing in the fitting, practice on a scrap piece, the brass will cut its own threads in the pvc pipe.

Strange Noise coming from front end

Jack the beast up one tire at a time about 6". Using a prybar or board as a leaver, pry up on the tire. Have somebody watch the ball joints to see if they move (as apposed to the whole axle moving). This will tell you if the ball joints are bad. Check the wheel bearings in this same manner, look...

    What did I miss??

I had an old ford that you could not keep rear main seals in because it had so much blow-by. Take off your oil cap in the valve cover (with the engine running) and see how much pressure is coming out of it.

    94 YJ water pump replacement

Last night I was looking at mine (trying to figure out why belt is squealing), doesn't look like it would be too terrible to change WP. Just do it on a day when you have plenty of time and can take your time. Clean mating surfaces real well. Good luck.

Getting mynew bumper! What do I do to it?

Bed liner= probably won't have to mess with it again, may not be the look you want Rattle can= not very durable, but easy, inexpensive touch-up powder coat=probably won't have to mess with it again, but most expensive option I vote= rattle can.

    Automotive rookie mistakes

Backed a station wagon up on a set of ramps, at the top of a hill to change the u-joint. No scotches on the front wheels. It took a very big pry bar and a big hammer to pop the drive shaft out of the rear end yolk, but I popped her out! Luckily my body was stuck out the back of the car, cause...

    radiator swap

Guys around here buy two core radiators at advanced auto for a little over a hundred bucks,(I assume other chain store parts houses would have them to.), otherwise, take some measurements and hit the ol' pick your own part salvage yard. I would hit the salvage yard cause I'm a cheap sob. LOL I...

    newbie to 4x4

Yea, that's the problem I am having, I can't go everywhere I would like because I don't want to go alone. Everybody around here has those side by side atv's. I prefer my jeep.

of course lockers are a big plus, so is a little skill, (no offense), sometimes it just takes practice and getting the feel of your jeep. welcome to the site, great to have you.

    Snorkel kit

Patch them in, if you are using 3" PVC, you should be able to drill holes close to the size of air fittings and screw them in,(they will make their own threads).

    89 jeep noisy starter

I don't mean to speak for anybody else, but, I don't think any of us know what you mean by choppy. Your steering column will have nothing to do with your starter motor's noises. If the starter motor is turning at all your key switch is fine. If it still made the "choppy noise" after a new...

    Transmission or transfer case.

I would probably go ahead and change the filter and fluid in the trans also, I would say that fluid was boiling. How far did you tow it? If you tow them any great distance you should remove the driveshaft. I have seen them catch fire before.
