So, the water pump on my 1989 Jeep Cherokee 4 x 4 (W/4.0 inline six that has power steering and air) started leaking and needs to be replaced. That's not my problem or my question here today...
My question is about getting rid of the stock 1989 Jeep...

It has a 4 1/2" Rough Country lift kit, with new rear leaf springs. To get the 33 BFG's to clear, I had to cut the fenders. Quite a bit of material (IE:metal) from the front fenders.

Well after doing some checking around here locally (Portland, Oregon), A couple of auto wrecking yards informed me that the window crank assemblies from the front doors of a 4-door cherokee will work in the 2-door, doors. But this what I was told. I did not use any 4-door parts.

Yes, it goes with out saying, that once I got home. I recharged the Battery and installed a upgraded Alternator. I installed a 100 amp unit.
And yes, I made sure the battery was fully charged, before starting the Jeep up. Didn't want the alternator running a full out charge right off...
