Well they are replacing them so I will give it another shot. Should the problem rearise(knock on wood) I will fork over more money...have dropped about $2500 in the last month so play toy funds are getting slim. Have enough left for gears and a locker to come next month :) -D-

I almost crashed today. Steering was almost uncontrollable. Got home and saw that the pass side front shackle(factory) was collapsed forward to the frame section that sticks out in front of grill. This was causing my spring to be in contact with tie rod! What would cause the shackle to swing...

Mine did ther same thing. Ran fine unless I really got into it and then popped/backfired. I had bumped the timing too far to compensate for extra fuel and air. Dropped back to 11 degrees and problem went away. Mine does still run very rich, but EVERYONE that has one has said the same thing. -D-

Obviously running rich. Since it is an 87 I am guessing it is carbed. May try adjusting mixture but it is only a temp. fix. Most likely need to clean and rebuild. -D-

Coil(coil pack)?, got compression?...loose ground somewhere? Many times we see Toyota trucks at the dealership that were playing offroad recently and just die. Find loose ground wires...

Motorcraft 2100 ZERO miles since rebuild ran to test and is great, went with Weber instead. Comes with adapter plate NEW air cleaner and filter, fuel line adapter and misc instructions. $75 you pay 1/2 shipping..about $15 -D-

Well since I am a licensed vehicle inspector I can say, no, there are no laws regarding tire width. There is on lift. Headlights may not be more than 54" from ground, but I do not see it enforced, F250s running around here as tall as a house(almost) and nobody says a word. -D-

Re: RE: Skiing Thank you. I am looking at going to a 3" back space but on a 10" wide rim. That should put me about 4-4.5"s wider and and with that on each side so 8-9" wider wil be nice and stable. -D-
