Quadratec has the knobs, I got them for a few buck each. I called, and the tech guy found them. As far as the light up indicators above the knobs, they have all but the hazards. I still haven't found that one.

Go with the CJ, you will have a piece of history, and as you say, much easier to work on. If my CJ breaks down, I fix it. If a late model (read computerized) Jeep breaks down, I take it to the shop.

Not to sound mean, but that's a parts vehicle at best. Do youself a favor and spend the money on something in better shape to fix up. This Jeep will nickle and dime you to death, and will be very frustrating. If you do decide to continue, best of luck.
