pulled the body lift off only took 2 hours haha but now i think my clutch arm is to long from the pedal to the linkage. there r 2 holes on the pedal and the hole it should be in i have about 4 to 5 in to long and move it to the other hole and 3in to long but thinking it may be the other linkage...

well im pulling the body lift off tomorrow and then going to see how it is and when i get money again i will get a hydraulic clutch set up

and i was wondering if there should only be like a 1in on movement on the trans on the linkage

so i put a longer arm from the paddle down and still the same thing although before i did that i notice that the body mount there had no nut on the bolt so i put one on and tried it and broke the welds on the mount. so anyone have any idea whats going on cause i have tried everything

ya there is a glass shop here too but they want a arm and a leg to do it. like they want 125 bucks to put my windshield in. but i might go to fresno or or just use lexan for now but i might not use the hard top to much cause i think i want to put like a ski and snow broad rack on it so a few...

ya i was thinking that but everything i looked at cost alot

So i got 3 tops with my cj5 when i traded it. the hard top doesnt have any glass in it at all. i been trying to find places that sell the glass and cant find anything. does any know were i can get all the glass for the hardtop

ok thanks kriss that does help out a lot but still thinking about waiting and seeing if i even like the 3 speed cause i only drove it in my yard to move it but was a wild ride cause of the body lift and like no clutch

ya like i said the transmission swap is down the road so i will get a good one when i do but finding out everything now

well this is down the road but as soon as i fix my clutch problem im going to look for a 4 speed and everything i will need so it gets done right.

and a t18 should bolt up to the 304? or will i have to change the bell housing

ya i got rid of all that crap. but i took my ohm meter to them and one is dead and the other seems to be working but still cant get it to light up even on my truck that has off road lights. so i dont know what the deal is but i will run it with out them for a while

what happens when ur front drive line gets ripped out haha. looks like i will have to regear also cause looks like i have a dana 44 in the rear and a 30 on the front.
