My dome lights only work when my dimmer switch is all the way up. How do I make them work when I open the doors? The door pieces are plugged in and I was told they worked before. What do I do :?:

What is the name of the switch that dim's and brightens your guage lights and turns on your dome lights? I thought it was a dimmer switch but thats not what they call it in parts stores. I cant find it in advance, autozone, napa or rockauto :x
