    suspension lift

Here's a pic of my '06 rubicon with the stock wheels, same as stock size tires, with a 4 inch lift installed (minus the rear track bar relocation bracket, hadn't gotten to that yet when the pic was taken). After installing the lift, I had a horrible death wobble anytime I would hit a bump at...

    suspension flex

Do the YJs have a track bar? I know my CJs didn't, they just had the swaybar up front. I didn't think they were need on a leaf spring setup.

    suspension lift

Those are definitely after market lower control arms, they likely wouldn't be there unless it was lifted. The wheels look stock to me.

Throw out bearing and clutch replacement

A little over 50k, but it's definitely going, sounds like crap when I push the pedal after it's warmed up. Doesn't do it when it's cold.

Throw out bearing and clutch replacement

How much should I be paying to have my clutch release bearing and (possibly) clutch replaced? EDIT: Almost forgot, '06 wrangler rubicon, 4.0, 6 spd. Thanks

    jeeps and car washes

I run mine through the car wash all the time with no problems. Factory hard top, full hard doors.

this may sound like a dumb question

Shouldn't be a problem, let's hope our jeeps are built tough enough to handle that minimal abuse. ;D

    2006 wrangler suspension upgrade

There are air shocks you can get which use compressed air in the shock cylinder to change your ride height and allow you to adjust it back to normal later. That's probably your best bet as the only other way I know is to change to stiffer springs, which will affect your ride quality. Or adjust...

    weight to power

That's kinda what I was thinking, I can save more weight by driving 13 miles and burning off a gallon of gas.

So, I'm thinkin' tune up time

'06 TJ just rolled over 50k. I've had it a month, no idea how well the previous owner followed the maintenance schedule. I've had the hood up to look around a bit, everything appears stock and in good order, but I haven't had anything apart: airbox open, plugs pulled, anything like that. I'm...

Installed wheel spacers => Death wobble??

Sounds like something is loose in your steering linkage and is most likely causing your problem. Uneven wear on your tires is increasing the problem. I'm guessing you're not in a position right now to run out and buy a round of tires? You need to have somebody have a look at your steering...

Installed wheel spacers => Death wobble??

The guy sounds like an idiot, if you google "jeep death wobble" you get tons of hits saying one of the most probable causes is being out of alignment. I don't remember if you mentioned, is your jeep lifted? If so, the alignment settings, particularly the caster, need to be set different than if...
