    OE fender flares

OEM parts + OE fender flares came off '01 wrangler. were faded, painted them, paint stared chipping off, then replaced. they are textured so i don't recomend sanding them, however, they need to be refinished to look nice again....if it matters. OE front and rear springs and shocks lightly...

    2.5L performance?

one thing i do like about my 2.5L is that it's so easy to work on. everything is out on the open and easy to get to. although nothing has broken yet....but when it does i won't be as ticked.

i got to much in my jeep to sell and come out ahead, i tried to sell for a few months, but no luck so now i'm just gonna dump more money into it so i don't get bored with it. later on down the road i might swap the motor and everything else that goes with it.

    Jeep Wave Standard Protocol

the wave was started for wranglers and cjs. i have nothing against any other jeeps, but i drive a tj and that's why other wranglers stand out and why i started to wave in the first place. if u don't drive a wrangler i don't think to wave, but keep waving and i'll try to remember to wave back.;)

    brake prob

sounds like a hydraulic problem. check ur master cylinder fluid level. also check the pad wear. if the pads on one side are worn further on onside that could indicate you have a bad flex hose to the caliper. does the pedal go to the floor or feel spongy? that could indicate a fluid leak. if so...

    2.5L performance?

have any of you tried those performance chips that trick your pcm to think the air temp is colder than it really is? i imagine it would just ruin your gas mileage dumping that extra fuel, but w/ a 4.0L throttle body, ram air intake, and maybe a header i'm thinking i could get an extra 15-25hp...

    2.5L performance?

i have a tj with a 2.5L. i am now running a 2" susp. lift with 31x10.5 tires. as far as performance, i have K&N a/f (not intake), power-aid throttlebody spacer, homemade 8mm sparkplug wires, and a summit glasspack instead of stock muffler. any other 2.5L tj owners know of a good way to get a...

    This sucks.

it sounds like dingus has the right idea. my co-worker had the same problem with a nut on the frame that the lower control arm of a honda mounts to. he ground out a hole big enough w/ a die grinder to fit a wrench on the nut that had broken loose in-side the frame and was able to tighten it that...

    98XJ Transmission Problems

the prices aren't bad compared to some shops mainly the dealer. do they warranty their work? it seems like labor is what's costing you the most. if u do it yourself u could make it worse or break something important costing u more. i have been working on cars for 7yrs now, if u aren't sure about...
