Get rid of that carter carb and get a motorcraft or weber. I did and I have no problems now and more power. I got the weber It illiminated the computer and smog crap that is robbing you of power.

T5 it is. Any body have one with all the gear? Bell housing clutch set up etc?

I have 4.10. It turns the 35s fine but at highway speeds my rpms are too high to get good fuel economy. 2500 to 3000 rpm I think that kinda high for a 258 motor for long drives 2hrs plus.

Hey thanks, Does that t-18 mount right up like the t-5 and does it have over drive? I understand the T5 takes no adapters and requires no change in drive shafts.

try pb blaster let soak for a few days. it worked for some of my body mounts I had to use a chizel for the others.also you could use a high lift or floor jack to lift and support the body for the mount removal.
