H hulken New member Oct 3, 2006 #3 i swapped my 87 4.2 liter for a 89 4.2 liter. My 87 was miled out and the 89 was practically new. the 87 and the 89 have two different starters and i cannot fiigure out a configuration to make them work. thanks
