after market lights...

so an update. In short you connot wire after market fog lights to factory wiring because it screws up a module that is in the fuse box under the hood and is a pain in the ass to deal with. So if you decide to put an after market bumper and Hella fog lamps you need to run all new wiring, relay switch, and switch to bypass the headache. Oh by the way this is on a 2007 JK wrangler which has more computer **** on it than most of NASA's rockets:x

since there is already a aftermarket place here ill put my question in, do you think that my jeeps factory foglight wiring can handle 4 fog lights including relays ect.. in total they eqaul 300 watts

I have two 500 watt helas wired into the harness where the fog lamps used to be. They can't be used in high beam, but I've got many hours on them and never had a problem. Actually, I think I've seen a post on here somewhere which explains how to bypass the "low beam only" function of the fog light switch.
