coil spacers

I've been contiplating puting a 2" coil spacer kit in my TJ. Do you need to change the shocks or do anything special.I've also looked at body lifts around 3" but I hate the look of most body lifts and why do the kits matter whether there is A/C on the jeep or not. I'd like to put a little bit of a lift but i need a fairly cheap one as I just had my first baby and the money ain't flowin the way is used to.

I'm pretty sure you'll just have to change the shocks with 2" coil spacers. big body lifts took silly. Congrats on the baby.

I didn't change my shocks when I did my 2" lift. Really didn't notice any difference in the ride. Please don't expect any flex though

the compressor will hit the fender if you go higher than a 1 in bl
