driver-side headlight dies

I have 37,000 on my jeep and i have had to replace the driver side headlight 3 times now... i have nothing hooked up to the lights and about every 12,000 miles the damn headlight goes out... there must be a short or something, let me know if anyone else is having the same problem. Thanks

are you using regular lights or high power lights

Yeah i have put in the same lights each time, none of those hyper white ones, just the basic sylvania light. No i checked to make sure they were tight and didnt rattle around and they were so i dont know what's going on ....

If you can, check out how many volts you have going to that light socket

I too have experienced problems with the longevity of the Sylvania brand of replacement headlight...headlamp...whatever.

Suggest you try a different brand.

That's where I was going by asking if they were all the same brand. I agree with Gadget and had the same problem, but it has been so long I can't really remember if they were sylvania or not.
