Hitch options

Just wondering what some of the options are for putting on a hitch? Who's using what? What's easy to put on? etc etc...any info would be great...

I perfer the ones in the bumper. The class III that mount to the bottom of the frame, In My opinion, hang a little too low and get caught up on things off road.

South, I had that bumper on my Jeep for about three years and my friend has one too! both of our started rusting in less than a year. the powder coating that olympic uses is pretty much crap! I would advise stripping it and re- powder coating it, also the hardware that holds on the bumper (and is welded) is only grade 3 hardware. when I was taking mine off a couple weeks ago to put the new tire swing on, I snapped 6 of the 8 bolts. if you want better pics, I can get them for ya!

You can kinda see all the rust bubbles, but also look around the 2" reciever!

Jps4jeep, well that sucks. Thanks for the info. No more pictures needed, I'll take your word for it and I can see the rust in that pic. I don't mean to hijack your thread JeepKyd, but I think we're both looking for the same thing. I didn't want one that hung below the bumper and that Olympic pictured is the only one I could find that was tow rated. Anyone know of any other in-bumper receiver type bumpers that are tow rated?

class III would be my recommendation - they are stronger than the bumper mounts and won't break as easily during a hard tug. They are real easy to install too.
