How to Remove CJ7 Wiper Arms

How do you get the entire wiper assembly off of a CJ? I've got the wiper motor off, but haven't figured out getting the actual wiper arms and the piece that connects the two (inside of the windshield frame). Anybody got the answer?

You should be able to pull out the two plastic oval peices from the inside, bottom of the windshield frame and remove the wipers and assembly from there.

Yep, what PhattyX said will get you inside the windshield frame to access the inner arm mechanisms. Of course you'll have to remove the entire wiper arm to remove the nuts on the outside (just lift and pull), then disconnect the two inner parts by removing the c-clips and slid them out. Just try not to bend them or they'll be heck to get to work again. I did, and just wound up buying new ones!

Thanks... i'll give it a shot. I already removed the wiper motor and the control arm attached to it. The other control arm and removing the actual wiper arms is the part I wasn't sure about. Wasn't sure if the arms just pulled off of the post or what.
