Hummer Vs. XJ


People just dont know when to give up. Thats awesome how the jeeps just smothly crawl over the rocks and the hummer cant. HA!
 
I never understood untill I bought the CJ.
The H1s of the world should stay off my JEEP trails !
They are here for me to snap my weak a$$ 30 and amc 20. Then sit back and wait for some Fullsize sucker tow rig to take me back to the parking lot.
I mean Really, Besides all the other Know weakness of the jeep (Electrical, Rust, Drivetrain ) the trails are here for me to run.
After I cut up a fullsize and use the 1 ton axles, Fuel Injected V8 and custom make everything, I might just be able to have fun again. ( With a empty wallet)
We all know the trails are here for us jeeperz to break on, not some weak H1.
Everyone Knows how often they break....

That video was priceless. I bet I could've made it through that with my stock YJ and that Hummer land arc couldn't. hehehehe

In all fairness to H1's out there I think bad driving was as much of a factor as the bad purchase though. :wink:
 

Took quite a while to load but..........SWEEEEEEEET! Loved the YJ in the background just chompin' at the bit to show that Hogger..oops...Hummer how it's done. Made me wonder how much of that Hummer's troubles were due to the driver???????

Someone once said ( And I believe it to be very true)... Offroading is 60% driver, 30% tires and 10% vehicle. That H1 got stuck because he kept choosing bad lines. If you notice none of those jeeps tried to go OVER that rock that the H1 kept getting stuck on. They straddled it or went around it, and the H1 didn't get stuck, he knew enough to back down.
 

everytime I see that video makes me laugh.....I remember when I was younger I thought the hummer was an awesome offroad beast....now I don't know what it is good for besides mild dirt and a little mud puddles here and there....oh and of course the weekend soccer games

I'm with ya white. It's time to stop drinking the Jeep "kool aid".

I love my Jeep. But, I would trade it for an H1 in a second. If you wouldn't your a fool.
 

I would trade it then sell the H1 and build another jeep.
 
This reminds me of when I had my Z/28. You say one bad word about a Corvette and suddenly you are "just jealous" and a "hater".......but I had a Vette too, so that was kind of confusing :?

You've got to call a dog a dog. The H1s are uncomfortable, slow, and just generally pigs. Cool? of course, but it ain't no Jeep.
 

I for one woud not trade m Jeep in on a H1. Sorry, but I like being able to take the 4-Wheeler trails. And where I ride the "Wide" does me no good.

So, D ick, Have at your H1 you are welcome to it, but don't let it sink into your brain that, the ones that don't want the Hummer, are "fools."
