Attn all Jeepers...
When: 3rd weekend of Jan 2011
Where: Starts in Marion County, Ends In Cook County
What: Snow drifted/closed county roads
Who: All Jeepers who love to ride in questionable areas
How: IDOT inside connection will be providing a list of all CR that are drifted closed on the route.
What you will need if coming: Winch or snatch strap, plastic as the gas stops are FS without attendants, money to eat on as we will be stopping for lunch and dinner at mom and pop diners along the way. Hotel arrangements will be available in two weeks. So far here is the tally coming...4-JK, 3-TJ, and 2-CJ, plus some fellow jeepers along the way. Please chime in if interested. Chiming does not commit you. Estimated trip is 6.5 hrs without incident, i.e. getting buried in a drift up to your outer door handles like last year's trip.
