so i was rolling down the interstate to go camp and wheel today, and all of a sudden my jeep just cut off. called AAA, got it home, replaced the CPS sensor like my mechanic friend suggested... (he works for DC) and still no go. i can open up the feul pressure relief valve and let the gas out, turn the key, and it builds pressure back up. its got spark to the wires also. any ideas? i was just rolling down the interstate running 30 minutes late, singing some 80's and minding my own, when my jeep went dunh dunh and cut off. please help me get it running...

Coil(coil pack)?, got compression?...loose ground somewhere? Many times we see Toyota trucks at the dealership that were playing offroad recently and just die. Find loose ground wires...

Take the 80's cd out of your deck and toss it. Then try turning it over again.

RE: Rear Brakes not locking up

Pull the cover off the relay/fuse panel under the hood. Check all the mini-fuses, one is likely blown and keeping the engine from firing. It's called the ASR (Auto-shutoff Relay) or something similar. Let me know what you find.

I say coil, I too have a 94 and everynow and then, the coil wire off the back of the weather pak pulls out ever so slightly and the jeep just dies, simply push on the wire and ready to go!
