Leaky Door

I'm hoping someone has some advice on this...I don't expect my TJ to be flawless but, I'd like to keep as much water out as possible....if that's possible.

Passenger side door - top closest to the windshield. I've tried adjusting the top and the door several times but, can't get rid of the water that drips in when it sits outside in the rain. It's spring in Indiana and it rains!

Any suggestions? I'm not planning to replace the door molding - it appears to be in great shape. Has anyone tried something that worked?

Thanks in advance.

You can remedy minute leaks with a foam tape. If you can find it in a roll of 1/4 inch thick, it would work the best on this project. Find the areas of water intrusions and install the foam tape accordingly.

I have the same model as you and have the same problem but on the drivers side. Nearest I can figure is that the water comes in where the weather strip is bowed out some in the below picture. That's the only place I see a problem. I resolved mine by pulling the drain plugs and replacing the floor mats with rubber ones that hold the water.

I'll probably replace the weather strip later.
