I am a Jeep owner once again.
I had a 94 YJ for a few years, I sold it about 5 years ago and missed it badly as soon as the guy drove off in MY jeep.
My wife and I have a 4month old little guy, so the Unlimited was a good choice for the extra room in the back.
I drove to a dealer 3 hours away who had the jeep I wanted at the price i wanted. Traded in my Maxima and so far I love it.
on the interstate and highway coming home I got 22.25mpg, going between 62 and 70mph. For that I was pleasantly surprised. In my old Jeep the best I ever saw was maybe 19mpg.
The ride is completely different of course with the newer suspension. The ride isn't much worse than our 2000 4runner. Of course it is louder at highway speed.
So there's my Jeep. 2005 Unlimited, 54K, hardtop, cruise, 6speed, I-6, CDchanger.
I plan to spend a lot more time on here now
Weekend project: built a DIY Hardtop hoist hehe
