I have a sahara yj and i need a new slave cylinder but am really broke cause i want to go to mexico... can i rebuild my slave cylinder or should i just get another one. If so how do i?

I personally wouldn't rebuild a Slave cylinder even IF there was a rebuild kit available out there. it's just not worth the headache nor the time. if you think about it, you would at least plunge that slave cylinder 2 times per stop. multiply that by lets say, 5. so you end up with 10 and thats not counting upshifts and downshifts from gear to gear in between lights. then consider how long you have had that Slave cylinder working in your jeep. That's a heck of a lot of wear and tear. if i was going to make a trip with that jeep on a long distance, i would like to have a peace of mind that the chances of it prematurely breaking down with a new cylinder is 1% to none Vs. a rebuilt one. This is just my opinion.
