Smittybilt XRC rocker guards

Just got a pair of Smittybilt XRC rocker guards installed on my '06 TJ. They look very similar in construction to the Poison Spyder rocker guards. I got them from 4WD hardware for about $180+shipping - they were on sale for $197 (regularly $219) and I had a gift card. They mount to the rear two body mounts and bolt to the side of the body. They look like they're pretty solid. What do you think?

My only complaint is that the first pair arrived damaged - the passenger side guard was badly bent. 4WD sent me a new set, and this set appeared OK to the naked eye but when the drivers side guard was on the Jeep you could see the rear corner of it was also bent. I think this can be remedied with the gentle persuasion of a hammer (I hope). I'm not sure if they were being damaged in shipping or what, but they need to find a better way to package these things. Let me know what you guys think!

I like.. Question, do you have a T-case drop and if so.. Why?

Yes, I do. The reason is because I had drivetrain vibrations when I installed the 2" budget lift. I am aware that usually a 2" lift is small enough that you can get by without the TC drop, but my Jeep needed it. I plan on getting rid of it and getting a SYE once I get a 4" lift on it sometime next year.

Very nice Jason.

On a side note I plagiarized a set from Poison Sypder along time a go and I just noticed something...I have the same mis-match angle on the front from my rocker guards and fender flare as does the poison spyder set...and now looking at Smitty built...hummmm
