In my 6 speed manual 2010 Jeep Wrangler jk I was having trouble off roading yesterday specially with the last part of a small rock climb. Whenever I released my clutch while trying to go up the rocks I had my gas peddle all the way in but it just wasn’t moving or gaining rpm’s so I would stall repeatedly does anyone know how to go up steep verticals in a manual transmission

Some hook up a hand throttle to the shift, so one foot works the brake and the other on the clutch.

You also have to recognize how much torque and Hp you have and what load you are carrying.

Lighten your load. Air down for traction.

If your tires are too big and gears too tall all your TQ and Hp are robbed.

you can also pull the parking break and then get your engine/clutch going and release the parking break.

I had a bicycle handbrake on the shifter of my old 85 CJ7 - Mainly because it wouldn't idle, but it did really help on steep hills.
