F flyboy New member Nov 28, 2003 #1 My wippers on my 99 tj decided they didn't won't to wipe anymore last night during a rain storm... they just stopped half way up the windshield and made a grinding noise almost like they stripped a drive gear. Anyone hear of this happening before

J jeepin916 Active member Nov 28, 2003 #2 nope my TJ just likes to skip off the windshield, i would check the wiper motor assembly they might have skiped off the gear and just grinding

F flyboy New member Nov 29, 2003 #3 the wiper motor stripped the stupid plastic gear inside the assembly. had to replace entire motor assembly. Thanks
