Windshield Brackets

I have used the windshield light mounting brackets. I used the KC ones, and they worked VERY well with my KC Daylighters Long Range lights. unfortunately, since for YJ's you cant use them with snorkel, I had to relocate my long range lights to the hood hinge, and these give out much more glare.

So, my recommendation is, if you use the windshield mounting for lights, make sure you use a light that has a very narrow spread, and you should be fine as far as glare goes. For the wiring, I folded the windshield down, and ran the wires through the sides of the windshield. This worked out fairly well, but when parked, and when raining with wind from the side, some water would get in the Jeep (it would not happen when driving, though).

I use the mirror relocation brackets every time i take my top off, and they work great for me.

IIRC, the monts use only the bolts on top of the hinge, and the relocation brackets use the ones BELOW the hinge, so it may work...

I am however using the mirrors on the door right now because of the winter and having the top on. Bracket wise they dont clash or run into eachother. I left the existing brackets on and mounted the windshield brackets yesterday along with fog lights.
