    I just bought me a 2002 jeep wrangler 4.0l

google for Axle Identification. There are some decent axle pics out there that will help. You can ask Jeep for your build sheet. There is a contact page at jeep.com that allows you to send an email. Send your VIN and they'll send you everything they know about your Jeep. I would wheel that...

    Steering upgrades on your wrangler

Stuck line truck Thanks. Its kind of a hobby, really. Sits on an old PC in my "office." I edit it all by hand in a text editor. No automation. Keeps my html skills sharp, sort of.

    Dieseling on shut down

RE: Steering upgrades on your wrangler I would say its a timing issue. I can turn off my Jeep at any idle and it dies. I don't know what's under your hood - is there vacuum advance on that distributor. When you set the timing, are you disconnecting that?

    Steering upgrades on your wrangler

RE: How Many Here Have One Of These........... I replaced the p/s pump with one from PSC (not Poison Sypder) that has high volume at low rpms. Seemed to help the existing steering box making it easier to turn the big wheels at low rpms. http://www.nakedjeep.com/Projects/PSC/PSCpump01.html

    plugs and wires

RE: miss me? Yes, get the wires from the dealer. They fit best and perform best. The low/no resistance wires are not better; maybe worse. I wouldn't waste the money on the throtte body either. Figure air in must equal air out. You'd have to upgrade the exhaust to see the gains, really. And...

    Side visors for YJ?

Look at the visors in the Liberty. After you swing them over to the side, the rod they are on can extend further back.

    Fan issues

RE: Re: RE: Attempted theft How loud is it? As long as the noise doesn't bother you... Mine seems a bit loud, but the theromstat keeps it off or on a low speed most of the time.

    Electric fan question

Re: RE: Re: RE: Politics, religion, and her It should survive fine. Consider that it gets soaked when you drive in rain. And everyone that has a massive radiator failure soaks the fan. It's just a wire winding and some magnets. The bearings are sealed. More important to keep the connecters and...

    Fan issues

You don't have to get a realy from a Ford. You want one that is rated for 80 amps peak and 30 amps continuous. Check with an electronics store, or auto parts store. Try a Bosch relay. Remember that the Taurus fan is 2 speeds. You need a relay to move from Low to High speed and one to kill the...

    fuel filter?

Re: RE: Re: RE: Fan issues Shocks is a hard question and there doesn't seem to be an easy answer. I've been looking at the same issue lately on my TJ. I've read a ton of posts and opinions lately and I'm still not sure what I will buy. The range dramatically in price. You may want to start by...

    Fan issues

It draws so much power that I would go to the power source. Either the battery or, if there is a power distribution center (fusebox or similar) under the hood, I would go there.

    Fan issues

RE: Door pin / dome light installation That $10 or what ever is just the initial buy in. Then you have to figure out how to bolt it in place. Maybe a couple of L brackets. Still cheap... You need a switch, at least one relay - maybe 2 depending on how you wire it, and a few feet of wire. Still...

    Fan issues

RE: Take A Wild Guess... How's the rest of the cooling system? You sure it's just the fan? I got a junkyard Taurus fan for $50, but the best part of the install was the control unit from www.dccontrol.com. I've heard mixed reviews about the flex-a-lite. I would hesitate before going that...

    tj loss of power

RE: Do I need to regear for 33 Not positive about the CPS, but my TPS went out without the check engine light coming on. It did throw some codes, but they didn't point directly at the TPS. The codes related to the symptoms like misfire or something.
