    Tire/Lift question

I would go with a 2 inch lift and a 2 inch body lift. Should be enough for off road. I take my 89 to moab every year and do poision spider and hell's canyon with just 2 inch suspension lift. Depends on what your gonna do. Jeepz kick a**.

    Lifting

pro comp or skyjacker are really good lifts. they will normally have everything you need from shocks to all the bolts you need. just remember you should also get an adjustable control arms and a drop pitman arm. good luck with everything with your jeep

    yj help

Have you checked the carb to make sure that its not choking its. My 89 did that and it was that I had a wire for my elec choke broke. So when it was cold it would run but when it warmed up it won't run. I would check there first and then move to the fuel filters and then the fuel pump.

    All-terrain vs. Mud terrain?

Well I prefer the mt's over the at's. I have owned bfg mt's and toyo mt's and I prefer the toyo's over the bfg's. I have gotten more miles out of the toyo's. The bfg's on the other hand have a softer tread and sidewall which makes the tire wear out quickly.

Need help with my '92 Cherokee

Just use an older d44 axles. Cheaper than the 8.8 Ford axles. You can also use a leaf spring lift kit if you don't want to use blocks or spacer.

Gas mileage from a 4.0, what do you get?

The only problem you will have with 3.07 are no power going up in the mountains. With 4.10 or 3.55 you will have more power climbing mountain's or steep hills on the interstate

how can i make power with a 4.2

Go with a Clifford intake with a 390 4bbrl holley carb if you don't have to worry about emmissions.
