    1988 cherokee power steering pump

I don't know what the belt on your motor looks like, but if you don't have a tensioner on a spring, one of the idler pulleys should be able to be loosened and be able to be adjusted to get the belt off.

    30x9.5x15 BFG's

Those would be a great deal, but shipping would be more than the asking price of the tires for me.

    my first lift kit

It's weird, when I got my Jeep it had 31's all the way around and i the only problem I had was the front would hit the fenders if I hit a bump too hard, but I got my 255's and had them on the rear and had to replace one of the 31's up front. The new 31 was when I started having problems with it...

    my first lift kit

I have stock suspension and 255/70/15 up front which is 29.1 inch and 31's in the rear until I can find 2 more 255's of the same brand and they are fine, but when I had the 31's up front I couldn't turn all the way and any bump they would hit the fenders Sent from my Exhibit using Jeepz

    that's better.

I wanted the white sticker when I got mine, but i like the look of the colored ones. I'm just afraid that I am going to scrape the one on my back window off when I scrape the frost off my window.

    would you do this

I am sure the only thing gennybro can hear now is "it puts the lotion on its skin"

    my first lift kit

I wouldn't say it would give you much more flex. If you want flex I would look into a 3 to 3 1/2 inch kit that comes with new springs and shocks. On my grand Cherokee a 31" tire rubs like no other when the wheel is turned about halfway each way, so this lift is just designed to clear the bigger...

    my first lift kit

the poly spacers say they won't break. everything will break at some point, but i think you would be good for a while. For the grand cherokee you can get a 2" lift for 60 or 70 bucks but i wouldn't use it for hardcore stuff, just some messing around and more of an appearance thing, and to fit...

My closest Wal-Mart sells both. My mother-in-law loves RC Cola, to me it just tastes like Coke.

New Tires, tread depth and inflation

I don't know if you have a discount tire or a big o near you, but they are generally the better places to go. I had a hick up at discount, but they fixed it and will do what they can to have your business. I brought in a really old tire i just needed mounted for a while and they mounted it and...

    restoring/customizing a 95...got some questions

Honestly a fresh 4.0 has decent power, and if you bored it out a little bit and did a head job, find a decent cam for it, and then the regular intake and exhaust you could probably have close to 300hp on a straight 6 that would be virtually indestructible.

    New Jeeper here!

Lifting a vehicle doesn't automatically reduce gas mileage. It is getting more aggressive tires and plus size tires that take it down, but lifting a vehicle and not getting bigger tires is kind of dumb. I would check morris 4x4 center, they carry a lot of stuff, but some of their things you...

    restoring/customizing a 95...got some questions

I have heard that the transmissions can be fixed for decent prices, but you should probably take it somewhere to get it checked. As for the engine, I would check your timing, spark plug gap, and throttle position. The rear is probably a dana 35, you can rebuild it or upgrade to a dana 44 which...

    Soap box time

I emailed one of my congressmen and his reply said he is against it too. I can't stand the government trying to over control the people that has put them there to represent them and make good decisions, but it seems like those goons in washington do what they want and couldn't care less about...

    New Years Offroading Resolutions

Mine is to get my front drive-shaft fixed so my jeep is actually 4wd again. It would also be nice to get a lift and 2 other tires so they are all new.

    2012 Grand Cherokee Laredo V6

for the money you will save on gas, you will spend it up front in other modification, and it will take a while to recoup the savings.

    Fixed my power steering pump

It's amazing how much noise something like that can cause, and how it can almost throw it to another part of the engine. I even had a mechanic listening to my Jeep run and he said it sounded like the bottom end with the exhaust manifold leaking.

    Who's got the worst commute?

2 blocks to school so about 30 second if the lights are green, and about 5 miles to work which is about 15 minutes each way. Sent from my Exhibit using Jeepz
