I'm not sure, but the cracked coil could have caused a miss fire and caused a cylider to run hot, but If it got to the point of glowing I just hope there was no internal damage.. I replaced my coil with and msd coil upgraded wires and basic champion plugs... And she runs great !! Mines an 06...

About the transmission. The six speed is garbage. I have it in my 2006. The old body stlyle... I lost 4th gear a few months ago. And it allways made the clunking and grinding noise... As per the other problems I'm not very familier with the jk

I've got a 10,000 lb winch bolted on my 06 and it's yanked me out of a few sticky situations just fine.

If you get the winch mount plate made specificly for the tj you'll be fine. It bolts to the frame above the bumper. They can we found as cheap as 50 bucks. Mine is either a superwinch or a rugged ridge. I can't remember..

I don't have my rear seat in my rig. And I have a large duffle bag and two home depot husky tool bags ( which by the way are very nice and quite durable) it's tight. But it all fits!

Sounds like the t-90 3speed and the d18 transfer case .... Based on your pic I'm not sure how original the body is .. But in gonna guess it's late 50's early 60's I have the same engine transmission and tranfercase. But with a Dana 25 up front an a 44 in the rear

Yeah I agree it's the thermostat. Also make sure your hoses arnt collapsing for some reason. Sounds like it's stuck shut to me. The usally fail either open or shut

Did you remove the two screws that hold it to the hub?? If so. Try to free up the two adjuster cam bolts on the backing plate . If those are loose too... Pb blaster and a lot of pateince. If all that does not work. A pulled will but you need to go very slow and tighten it. Tap all around with...

I'd say it's a pretty good deal. But does it run and drive, does the 4wd work and is the floor solid.... If all are good I'd say jump on it.... Parts are resonable and abundant! I have 56 cj5. I pick up for 100 bucks. But there really want much left so oim pretty much buliding a brand new rig...
