Re: Diff & Locker advice Surely someone needs this stuff! All items are for pickup in Fairmount, IN. I need to sell this stuff soon. I'm newly single and need to buy some appliances! If the stuff don't sell soon... well, scrap prices are up... 1. 75-and-earlier CJ5 frame, with all springs...

Don't junk your rusty old tubs and frames!

Myself and five other buddies have been talking about an unusual Jeep project for a while now, and we are ready to move into a "mock-up phase" (in my yard, goodie goodie). We don't want to cut up any decent tubs or frames to try the idea out, so I decided to come here and see if y'all had any...

    CJ7/350 chevy conversion

Well, my neighbor has a CJ-7. He is 20 with limited auto knowledge, and the guy that helped him is one of those "know-it-alls" who likes to rig things rather than do it right (I know, I spent some time undoing alot of his handiwork). If these two can do a Chevy conversion, I know you can...

Is it leagal to drop the windshield when diving on public ro

I don't know what Indiana's law is on this. I asked the local cop who lives across the street from me, and he didn't know either. All I know is helmets for motorcycles are NOT required, seatbelts ARE required except for truck-plates on vehicles that don't carry passengers (vans, etc). A...

    If you had $500............

I don't know what to tell YOU to spend it on, but if I had 500 bones to spend on MY Jeep, I'd get a Painless harness and a steering column that isn't all jacked up!

    (My 1st Jeep) 99 2.5L 4 Banger stock, what needs moded 1st?

Wow, look at all of us Indiana people on this thread! Oh, I vote for skidplates. Not really a "mod" but how about an emergency kit (first aid, tools, fire extinguisher, recovery stuff, etc.)?

I can't afford a new one at the moment, I was hoping I could score a good used one cheap or with a trade.

    Wanted (IN) Radiator, trade?

I need a radiator for my 77 CJ-5 with the 304 V8. I might be willing to trade a Dana 20 transfer case if interrested.

    Wanted: T-150 transmission for 77 CJ-5 (IN)

Looks like the transmission in my Jeep is junk. I need a useable T-150 as cheap as possible to get Ol' Blue rollin' again. I'd really like a T-18, but can't afford that right now. I'm located about 60 miles north of Indy, but I'm willing to drive 100 miles or so (maybe more for the right...

    Tonneau covers for CJ-5?

Do they make tonneau covers for the rear area of a CJ-5? I can't seem to find any advertised anywhere. I don't have a seat back there anyway, so I thought it would look nice with one. How about the "half cab" curtain?

    Finally got my Jeep home!

More good news... turns out that the transmission and transfer case ARE NOT broken! It was a case of my dad calling parts by the wrong name again... what is really broken is the front driveshaft. Alot better than having to mess with the transmission or transfer, if you ask me!

    Fenderwell headers/glass packs broke

testing My CJ-5 has fenderwell exit headers on it with 24 inch header-mount glass packs. My father installed these when he owned the Jeep. Well, he never used any kind of a hanger on the rear of the glass packs for support- he just let them hang from the headers. Well, one of the glass packs...

    More CJ wheel questions

I just went to the American Racing site and looked at those 767 rims. Those aren't them. The 767's are kinda like a "D" shaped hole. The rims I am talking about have very distinct hearts (like a Valentine's day heart).

    Looking for cheap, worn-out tires.

I'm looking for some old used tires that i can get as cheap as possible, close to Indiana. Looking for something to fit 15 inch rims, no wider than 12.5 inches, and in the 30-35 inch range. I really just need these to roll the Jeep around while I'm working on it, NOT to drive with! Of course...
