With the needle pegged, pull off the sending unit wire. If the needle drops, replace the sending unit. If this doesn't solve the problem it may be the pressure bypass valve/spring is stuck/frozen up. If yours is an eight cyl it's an easy fix. If a six cyl, off comes the pan.

Like Bounty said , they're boots and when filled with grease it squirts out, even new ones. Unless they're torn, just wipe off the excess grease and you're good. Excessive movement or slop is cause for replacement.

I agree with LBR. The 1.35 ohm resistance wire supplies less than full battery voltage to the coil during engine operation. This resistance wire is by passed during the starting process, by the I-terminal on the starter solenoid, so the coil then receives full battery voltage. The I-terminal is...

RE: 4.0L (wa/or) 93-99 If it's a CJ make sure the tail pipe exits between the spring and frame and is pointed to the side and a little down. Anywhere else, don't forget your gas mask.

Sorry I've seen rattle cans of decal remover at the auto parts stores. Check it out for damage free removal. If it matters.
