yea mine had some vibration when i first did it but i changed the ujoints and is smooth riding now. and when you on the street your in 2 wheel (hopefully anyway) so the front is just spinning its not taking any power from the motor. i didnt notice a change in mpg.

to put in tj axles you need to get a different seal thats the same diameter of the tj shaft. the short side goes in with no changes but the disconnect side is way bigger so the old seal wont work. i just took all that disconnect crap off and put the collar where it is engaged all the time and...

the fuel tank should be either 15 or 20 gallons. the only way i know how to tell is by running till almost empty then filling up and see if it holds 15 or 20. im sure someone else on here knows a better way to tell though.

superj do the top handles on the small cans rattle? they look like they would i was just gonna cut em off.i guess i probably wouldnt hear them over all the other rattles i have anyway but just wondering.

im not a fan of cv shafts either. changing u joints in those things sucks.

man i had that posi lock and i hated it. it didnt work much better. i finally put tj shafts in and wish i wouldve done that to begin with. it was cheaper to convert to tj shafts than to get the posi lock and its a hell of a lot better.

i run skyjacker nitros and theyre kinda stiff. they were only 40 bucks each though and are better than what i had. hopefully theyll break in softer.

ive only had experience with the weber 32/36 but i like it. i was having some problems earlier in the year that i thought was the carb but it turned out it was getting too much fuel pressure. once i got the fuel pressure regulated its awesome.

does anybody know if a stock 84 brake booster will work to put power brakes on a manual braked 84 cj7? or if not the best way to convert to power brakes. nthanks.
