    I came across this to help with your question. If you look at the pics you can see the dif cover fill hole is higher then the stock fill hole.If you fill from the dif cover hole you will be adding more fluid then needed, Not a good thing. 8.8 Fluid Change and Rockcrusher - 4x4 Preservation

    lower control arm

    Do not drive you jeep if the control arm is not bolted up. The best way to do it is Bolt up the frame end first but do not tighten yet Use a ratchet strap like superj said to get the axle to line up where needed. It might take a little time but it will go in. Just take your time

    It states that the one hole closer to the axle will give a softer ride. And the one in the front, closer to the front bumper, will give a stiffer ride. Did you try to move the link to the one up front?
