Door not sitting right

Hey all, most recent update (and questions) as follows:

I took the hard top off, pulled the windshield down, took off the door mounted mirrors... Remounted the mirrors thanks to th relocator brackets, and added speakers into the dash (none were there, the dash was off anyway). Now, the problem is that the passenger door is NOT sitting right and I do not know how to fix it. Its not lining up with the strike pin, its lower in the back (by the handle) than by the front (by the hinges). What do I do to fix it? I want my door to stay closed and fit!

Could you post a photo?

The windshield hinge is also the top door pin mount, so if you didn't move either door pin hole, I don't see how the door fitting could have changed.

I'd just like to see the door mounted. If the hinges haven't changed, I don't see how the door couldn't fit.

The doors are adjustable. Loosen the screws on the hinges and you can adjust the door up and down where you need it.
You can likely set it back where it was by looking at the difference in paint or lack thereof around the hinge.

I'd loosen the screws on the bottom hinge, then pull up on the door, and try to close it, then tighten down.

I'm guessing that the top hinge moved when you were putting the mirror mounts on, and now you have to line everything up again.

adjust your hinges by loosening them, lines the door up and tighen the hines. I would suggest loosening both top and bottom thought. It appears your bottom needs to be moved rearward and the top needs to be moved foward.

Tighten the nut down on your hinges, remove the striker bolt, have someone hold the door in perfect alignment and retighten your hinges. Also, you may have damaged the bushing inside the hinge, if you can wiggle the door up and down with all the bolts tight you should replace your hinges and start over.
