External slave issues

I have an '90 ax-15 that I converted over to an external slave. The throwout bearing is much bigger than the shaft, and is very sloppy. Now I think it has come apart. Did I waste my money? Or is there a sleeved bearing that fits tightly on the trans shaft?

The external slave transmission has a different front bearing cover, has a long section of tubing about 4" long that covers the input shaft and the throwout bearing rides on. You have to swap that onto the older transmission.

I knew there was a simple solution to this. Now to tear it all out again. Thanks for the help!
