My province's newspaper.. called "The Province" is doing somthing called "the traveling road show" they are taking pictures from around BC and publishing them each weekend till the end of summer or somthing like that.

Anyways i love hiking, so i got TONZ of pictures and i sent a couple in. they e-mailed me back with "bridal veil falls" as the subject line (one of the photos i sent) and said i had to agree to give them non-exclusive rights to use my photo in the province and on BCTV news. so i think they will be printing the picture i took in our province wide paper

OOH AND!!! at the end of "the traveling road show" the will randomly pick one of the people whos photos got printed a 2700$ CND digital camera (yes thats right 2700$) the camera i have right now only cost me 200$ i soooooooooo wanna win...

anyways this is the pic i think they are gunna publish (i'll let you know if its in there)

Kimmo, that is an awesome shot! I've been a photographer for ummm....let's see...8 and 3 carry the 4 add the 1.....about 30 years, I'd guess. I've been published many times, even had a shot in National Geographic back in the 80's. Ya done good, Oh Mooner of the Canadian Outback!!!

Great shot, ants! Good luck in the contest. BTW, we have a "bridal veil falls" here in NC, too. Nothing at all like the one in your pic, though. You used to be able to drive a car underneath it, but a big boulder fell a couple years ago and nixed that. Again, good luck.

Nice picture. The only waterfalls we have in Alabama are pretty puny in comparison. Good luck on winning, I hope you get that camera too, then you'll get inspired all over again to take more picutres of your Jeep.

YAY!!! the photo made the paper

sorry felix theres no pool at the bottem to swim in.. pretty much just goes off into a really shallow river. so the contest isnt over till the end of summer or somthing so i wont know about the camera untill then. like i said its all random. but hey!!! random means i'm in the draw just its along with like 100 other people or so.. but dude could you imagine having a 2700$ digital camera :shock:
