Let's see some wheelin pics

Let's see 'em, the more recent the better. We went out today, three jeeps on the trails our club built on private property, conditions were perfect. Just slick enough to make it interesting, but not an impossible winchfest. Here's one of me posing "Because it was there" :D

Haven't been anywhere really good since April. fix new house, have baby, move, fix old house, now selling old house bla bla bla.

This spring is what I am looking towards for getting back into the swing of things, but all I have is old pics.

About three hours ago between Phoenix and Crown King. The lens had some schmutz on it so everything got a fog filter look

I sure like that Zook. Haven't been wheelin' in a while. Damn it.

Yeah, but judging by the mud on the end of the stinger, corner of the hood, and the crushed windshield, I'd say it was just rolled prior to that pic!!

Oh, yeah....great pic, Bounty!!! I used to have a pic of my Toy on a tree that was at a 45 degree angle, with the front tire about 4 feet up the tree....made it look like I'd hit it and was pushing it over!!

How close were you to rolling there? It looks like a pretty steep angle, but maybe that's just the angle of the pic.

Real close, especially when my 'friends' started rocking the jeep and the rear tire kept coming off the ground

OutofStep, I've had the opportunity to meet and wheel with Felix Santi of AZVJC, and it's a stellar club if he's any guage of it :D

Yeah its a great club, enough members that you can wheel every weekend and pick the trail appropriate for the rig you're running. Plus we've got a lot of memebers that own 4wd related businesses and fab shops, which is always nice.

I didn't get a chance to run with Felix while he was here.

Joys of a Fed. job, huh? He was here for a short while, bummed about the Midwest wheelin until he went out with us. I hear he's in TX now.

Yeah no kiddin.

I didn't have a Jeep while I spent my time in Carbondale, its unfortunate I would have really enjoyed it.

I dunno how the wheeling is in TX, there's not much public land and everyone there is into leasing access to private land, so it might be pretty scarce.

bounty you hvae the jeep i wish i still had, after cutting mine up and doing one tons, i kinda want the old one back. not to say i dont love wheeling mine the way i do, i just want one i can still drive to the trails

Yeah its gotta be hard to resist making a trailer king if you have the means, but I've heard a lot of people say the same thing

Ahh, there he is, AZVJC in the house  Hope you're doing well, Felix.

Here's another angle of mine on the log, and some notorious types trying to roll the jeep:

Hey Chris. Yepper, those SIJA folks made me smile at Shawnee NF. Good ride.

Good wheeling here in El Paso area, with NM only 11 miles away. Las Cruces, home of the Chilli Challenge is only 35 miels or so north. Even have two moderate to hard rock trails and a couple softer ones within 10 miles of the house. Ya gotta love BLM land(NM).

Good to hear theres some good wheelin in TX or thereabouts. The Shawnee is a magical place that will ruin you for all other places, if you let it.
