Where can I get one? Can I just go to a bolt shop or Home Depot? It's the bolt that connects the joint to the axle (Not the side with the cotter pin). I also need the bushings too.

Or should I call up JKS?

if you are looking at the driver's side disco from the front, it'd be the bolt on the lower end of the sway bar, and the outer right hand side of the lower part of the assembly.

(I'm sure I explained that all wrong.)

you could find one at home depot that would fit it i'm sure. i'd get grade 8 or better. but while you're at it, why not call JKS? considering you need the bushing too, its worth a shot to see how much they'd charge you.

I'll second home depot.

Not much stress on those swaybar bolts, grade 8 or even grade 5 bolts might be a bit overkill, but can't hurt.

Look at Autozone for the bushing. They have some random Energy Suspension bushings. They probably have the one for the sway bar.

JKS is sending me the bolt and bushings...FREE of charge! I didn't even ask them for that...THEY volunteered.

I'm now a fan of JKS from here on out, I know it's small and cheap, but really cool.

true value hardware - due to customer service and they don't carry any bolt under grade 8
take off you other bolt (on the other side) and match it to a Home Depot or any hardware store bolt.

errr i didn't see they gave it to you ....haha

is there a chance that the grade 5 would be more appropriate?

some parts (bolts for example) are designed to sheer off if too much pressure is applied to prevent further damage to other more expensive parts.

crawling and flexing as hard as some of us do (not quite my style, more of an impatient thrasher) would you prefer something that would snap or shear in that kind of aplication?

none the less, when that bolt comes in.....(cool they sent it for free) let us know how many hash marks are on top of the head. so we can replace properly if we arent quite as lucky (or dont want to wait for the mail)
