Oil Pressure Drops

1998 Wrangler, 4.0l, a/t. (stop laughing, I got a good deal) After the engine warms up, when i pull up to a stop light and the engine idles, the oil pressure reading periodically drops off and then comes back to the normal range. If I put it in neutral and keep the rpm's above 1000, the pressure does not drop. It doesn't drop while driving/operating under normal conditions.

When was the last time you checked your dipstick? If you're really low on oil, your pressure readings will be all over the place. If it's just moving slightly with the drop to idle, that's normal.
