Local Rebel friends and family got together this past Saturday in Big Bear, CA for some fun in the woods. New faces joined us this trip - Kyle Kiggins in his Cherokee and Shawn Criss in his YJ were in attendance. Welcome to the crew!
We met up at the Rebel Cabin at 0900 for some eggs and bacon (thanks Adam) followed by a quick fix on Sandy's Doublewide Rebel F250 SD - vacuum hubs were acting up.
The 10 of us hit the highway off towards Gold Mountain trail. Since we had close to stock rigs with us we wanted to make sure everyone had a great time and Gold Mountain has something for everyone.
The day went off without a hitch - all rigs were working great and every face had a smile on it. After Gold Mountain we headed over to Gate Keeper on the John Bull trail so the more built rigs in our group could stretch their legs. Jason in his open diff JK Unlimited decided to tackle the trail but ended up breaking a front u-joint. Easy fix back at the cabin and he was able to head home without a hitch.
